Crown Caps and Bidules

Recently there has been a high demand for crown caps and bidules. At A.O. Wilson, we have answered this demand by bringing in a variety of inventory of crown caps. We carry 26mm and 29mm crowns and bidules.

Crown caps are available with different liners; polyethylene injected or expanded polyethylene discs.

• Crown caps with a polespan disc are recommended for products that have an average aging length of 18-24 months.  This liner shows optimal pressure hold as well as osmotic exchange for ideal product maturation.
• Crown caps with a polyethylene injected liner are recommended for products that have an average aging length of 24-36 months. This special liner reduces the osmotic exchange and preserves freshness and aromas of your wine.

Crown caps are available in stainless steel, aluminum and standard steel.  The

advantage of a standard steel cap is that it is magnetic, making it easy to apply when using the air crowner we sell for the small to medium wineries.
